Dept. Of Mathematics / Statistics / Computer Science & I.T. is a one of the largest department, established in year 1958. Department runs academic programs at U.G, P.G. Level, and Research.
Department organizes Workshops, seminars, guest lectures of eminent personalities. In addition, faculty of department guiding students for NET/SET, Olympiad and other competitive examination because of it 04 Students qualified SET/NET, and every year students from this department got University Ranks.
Our Computer lab is well equipped with LAN settings. Four different computer labs are equipped with latest technology and software. All computers in Laboratory are connected with high-speed Broadband facility.
Our Faculty members are working in various committees of S.R.T.M. University as well as in Nanded Education Society.
Department is engaged in imparting quality education in the field of Mathematics / Statistics / Computer Science & I.T. The department offers a three-year undergraduate course B.Sc. in Mathematics, Statistics and Computer Science and also B.C.A. . P.G. in Mathematics has started in year 1970 and Computer Science in year 2004.Along with teaching, our faculty is also engaged in research. The department has organized two international conference in Mathematics, 02 Research Project are undertaken , 21 Research paper Published in various International and National conferences and journals , 06 students are awarded with Ph.D. and 04 Research Scholars are working for Ph.D. in Department. |
