A welcome programme was organized by M. Sc. II year students for M. Sc. I year students on 22nd September 2014. The Principal Dr. D.U.Gawai chaired the function. Dr.S.V.Kuberkar were present as Chief guests for the function.
A Study tour of B. Sc. III year chemistry students was organized by the department on 4th March 2017 to visit Kervadi Discovery Centre, Dist. Parbhani. Thirty two students along with Dr. D. R. Munde, Dr.A.T.Shinde, Mr.N.J.Deshmukh visited the centre.
The department has organized Dr. D. S. Deshpande lecture series on 18th February 2017. Dr.Sidhnath Bhosale ,Sr. Scientist ,IIT, Hyderabad, delivered lectures on “Supramolecular Chemisty” Dr. D.U.Gawai, Principal of college chaired the inaugural function. Dr. S.R.Pingalkar, Convener of the lecture series talked about the lecture series. Dr. A.T.Shinde anchored the function. and Dr. D. R. Munde proposed vote of thanks. Respected Dr.D.S.Deshpande, All faculty members of the department, other departments and students of B.Sc. and M.Sc. were present for the function.
The department organized Remedial Lecture Series on 20th February, 2017. Dr.B.H.Shrikant, Chief consultant, Chemical Industries and technical education, Pune, delivered lecture on “ How to establish the industry project” Dr.D.U.Gawai, Principal of College chaired the function, Dr.S.R.Pingalkar, convener talked about the remedial lecture series.
A farewell function was arranged by M. Sc. I year students for M. Sc. II year students on 07th March 2017. Principal Dr. D.U.Gawai chaired the function and Dr. S. V. Kuberkar, former Head of the department of chemistry, Yeshwant Mahavidyalaya, Nanded talked to students as a chief guest; Head of the department Dr.S.R.Pingalkar, and other faculty members of chemistry department were present for the function.
Dr.N.M.Sontakke, Head Department of Chemistry who served for about thirty four years, felicitated by the department on his superannuation. Principal Dr. D.U.Gawai, Vice-Principal Dr. P. P. Sharma, Dr.M.N.Deshpande, Shir L.B.Rajurkar, Dr.S.R.Pingalkar, Head of the Department of chemistry, teaching and non-teathing staff were present at this occasion, on 30th December 2016. Retirement programme of Shri P.B.Ghude was arrange on 30st January 2016 and he was felicitated by Dr.R.A.Pathani.
Department organized “Sharmdan” programme on 20th and 26th January 2017. All teaching, non teaching and student of M.Sc. were actively participated in this programme.
Department conducted internal practical examination of B.Sc Ist year (CBCS Pattern) of 20 marks from 20th February 2017 to 25th February 2017. We also conducted University practical examination of B.Sc Ist and B.Sc IIIrd from 6th march 2017 to 20th march 2017, and B.Sc IInd year from 10th April to 20th April 2017.
Department conducted meeting on 6th August 2016 to discuss and distribution of syllabus of M.Sc Ist year(Ist sem) and M.Sc IInd year (IIIrd sem) organic and analytical chemistry.
Department conducted meeting on 29th November 2016 to discuss and distribution of syllabus of M.Sc Ist year(IInd sem) and M.Sc IInd year (IVth sem) organic and analytical chemistry. Also to discuss about B.Sc theory and practicals.
Department conducted meeting about UGC-CPE grants on 27th February 2017.
